Small Valuations for Private Sale

For Opinions on Value for Sale

We are happy to provide our opinion* on estimated value for private sale of artworks from your collection free of charge**. If you choose to engage us to sell an artwork(s) for you privately, we will provide you with a one-off private sales consignment agreement. This agreement will outline the net price(s) to you, the term of the consignment and address any other logistical concerns or conditions of sale.

Valuations for Public Sales

For Auction Sales

 

Even if you are not an existing art advisory client of ours, we provide valuations and assistance for the sale at auction of single items or an entire collection. In this case we will enter into a fixed-fee based agreement with you to manage the process from start to finish. We will deal directly with the relevant major auction houses to compile the necessary auction valuations and sales plans on your behalf. We will then present you with the various options and provide you with our honest and experienced opinion on the best solution(s). 

 

There are many advantages of working with us rather than handling this often overwhelming process yourself. First and foremost is that we will save you an immense amount of time and stress, not only in obtaining the multiple opinions, but also in handling all the physical logistics of moving forward with the consignment. Second, our experience in the auction industry allows us keen insight into what sales and marketing proposals you are presented with are the most suitable and helpful. Lastly, negotiating with auction houses is not always straightforward and without existing relationships or personal experience you may be leaving money on the table. Having served as a primary deal maker for over a decade with three of the four major auction houses, we can negotiate the best consignment terms for you to help maximize your return.
